The scope for Wren House, an existing single-family mansion in South London, was to demolish and reconstruct a new rear single storey extension and significant internal alterations throughout.
The aim was to enlarge the usable space for the family and also to enhance access to daylight and open up the house to the rear garden.
The layout of the house was systematically consolidated and enhanced to open up the space, making various rooms more accessible and flexible and allow for family interaction while maintaining zones for privacy for individuals.
