Primrose Hill Residence

The aim for the conversion of the lower ground floor was to create a lively space for everyday living and socializing. Furthermore the design balances the vision of the client to have a modern design language while integrating period features and elements of the ‘old English club’ atmosphere. In addition the lower ground floor was opened up internally and to the garden while respecting the historic integrity of a listed building.

The key design decision was to place all service units, built in storage and furniture alongside the walls while simultaneously opening up the central space of the lower ground floor for special objects such as a kitchen island or ding tables.
